Dr Graham Marning
Dr Marning completed his Bachelor of Medicine at University of Sydney in 1990. Since then, he has taken a special interest in skin cancer as he himself is a lover of the ocean and the sun.
Dr Hein Vandenbergh
Dr Vandenbergh graduated as a doctor from the University of Sydney in 1973 and initially commenced work as a GP in Sydney. He completed his dermatology qualifications in the UK, at Cardiff University, in 2001.
He then worked as a primary care doctor (lately in rural NSW), with a special interest in skin diseases - which in Australia proved to be mainly skin cancer.
Some of his achievements include:
- He is a co-founder of the Skin Cancer Society of Australasia in 2004, now known as the Skin Cancer College of Australasia
- He wrote the Standards for primary care skin cancer medicine, now incorporated in the Royal Australian College of GP's Practice Standards.
- He became an expert dermatoscopist, the science of diagnosing skin cancer and its sub-types in a non-surgical manner.
In 2017 he made the decision to practice skin cancer medicine exclusively, based in Canberra, at the Erindale skin cancer clinic, operated by Australian Skin Cancer Clinics.
His hobbies include sailing, bushwalking, tinkering with vintage cars, mucking around on his small farm, and writing. He has 3 grandchildren, two aged 3 years, and one 10 months as at July 2017.
Commencing Thursday 7th September 2017, Dr Vandenbergh will be available at the Erindale Clinic:
Thursday 9AM - 5PM
Friday 9AM - 5PM
Saturday 8AM - 1PM
