The clinic is located on the south side of Chadstone Shopping Centre.

Dr Michael Henderson

Dr Henderson has an extensive background in General Practice, having practiced both in Australia and overseas.  He has been engaged in skin cancer medicine, as an area of special interest, since 2007.  He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand (SCCANZ) and holds a Diploma of Demoscopy and Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine.

His other areas of interest are Occupational Medicine and Travel Medicine, and he is a Member of the Faculty of Travel Medicine, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow.

Dr Hamilton Ayres

Dr Ayres is based in Melbourne and started at Sunspot in February 2011.  He has obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine from The University of Queensland School of Medicine.

In addition, Hamilton has completed the Basic Surgical Training program offered by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, including 2 years as a Plastic Surgery Registrar, where his primary role was the management of complicated skin cancers and trauma.  He is a regular demonstrator at skin cancer courses around Australia, assisting other doctors in obtaining the skills required in Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Jessica Maher

Dr Jessica Maher is originally from Queensland and completed her medical degree in 2006 at the James Cook University in Northern Queensland.  She has recently completed her general Practice training.

Jessica has an interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and minor procedures and enjoys educating patients about sun protection and prevention of skin cancers.

She is looking forward to furthering her skin cancer skills by obtaining certificates in skin cancer medicine.

Dr Katy Harvey

Dr Harvey graduated from Oxford University Medical School in 2008 before moving from the UK to Melbourne in 2011. 

She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2015, in addition to Certificates in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine, Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery, Skin Cancer Therapeutics and an Advanced Certificate in Dermatoscopy and Histopathology.  Katy is currently completing both a Diploma in Dermoscopy and a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine.

Since 2015 Katy has held an appointment as a Senior Lecturer with The University of Queensland School of Medicine for the Masters of Medicine program, assisting with teaching skin cancer medicine to doctors.
