Location and Parking
We have parking at the front of the clinic.
Public transport is readily available outside the clinic by riding the 811 or 812 buses which are available from Cheltenham and Mentone Stations on the Frankston line.
From Southland Shopping Centre board the 767 bus, please alight at the Waves Leisure Centre.
Dr Kristy Edwards
Dr Kristy Edwards completed her Medical training at the University of Sydney in 2008, after studying Science at Monash University. She is also a Fellow with the College of General Practitioners.
Kristy enjoys all aspects of Skin Cancer Medicine and holds Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery. In 2016 Kristy completed a Masters Degree with the University of Queensland in the field of Skin Cancer.
When not working, Kristy enjoys the outdoors, fishing, camping and watching her racehorse win (rarely!).
Dr Tim Lynch
Dr Lynch graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Tim now calls Melbourne home after moving from Brisbane in 2013.
He has worked extensively in Skin Cancer Medicine since 2009 and has completed further qualifications with the University of Queensland in Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery. He is also a Member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Dr Michelle Pearse
Dr Michelle Pearse MBChB FACSCM FSCCA graduated from the University of Auckland Medical School in 1990 and moved to Queensland in 2000, where she has since worked exclusively in Skin Cancer Medicine.
In 2012 Dr Pearse received her Fellowship of the Australian College of Skin Cancer Medicine and in 2013 received her Fellowship of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. As a Fellow, Dr Pearse is extremely familiar with all forms of Melanoma and Non Melanoma Skin Cancers and has a special interest in complicated flaps and grafts and dermatological surgery of the head and lower limbs.
Dr Daniel Aronov
Dr Daniel Aronov obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Melbourne in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University in 2005. He is passionate about the prevention and treatment of Skin Cancer, and holds a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine.
Dr Aronov also makes short and fun evidence based videos about common health questions, which can be found at www.youtube.com/DrDanMD.
When not consulting, Dr Aronov spends time teaching Medical students at Monash University, playing with his 2 boys and doing Cross Fit.
Dr Craig Blandy
Dr Craig Blandy graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1982 and gained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before entering Full Time General Practice. In 1993 he joined the University Health Services at Monash University and remained at Monash until 2015. He has a particular interest in Travel Medicine and is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine, qualifying in 2007. He is also a Member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and the South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society.
Craig enjoys travelling the world and spending time on his farm.
Sarah Smith - Practice Nurse
Sarah studied Nursing at The Alfred Hospital from 1989-1992, after completing a Science Degree at Monash University.
Sarah currently works Part Time at Monash Medical Centre as an ANUM on a busy Cardiothoracic Ward and also Part Time as one of the Practice Nurses at Cheltenham Skin Cancer Clinic. In 2016 she completed a Certifcate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine with the University of Queensland and enjoys the close relationship she develops with patients from all walks of life.
Sarah is married with 2 teenage boys. She enjoys football (especially the Pies!!), going to live shows and following her racehorse.
Phyllis Li - Practice Nurse
Phyllis completed her BA of Nursing in 2008 at Deakin University. Following this, she continued her Graduate year and employment with Monash Medical Centre in a variety of settings. Phyllis joined Cheltenham Skin Cancer Clinic in 2016 as a Practice Nurse and really enjoys working as a team to provide holistic, evidence based care to her patients. In addition, Phyllis is a Registered Nurse Immuniser in Victoria and is an advocate of health prevention, promotion and mental well being.
She lives with her husband, young son and their pet rabbit. In her spare time you will find her taking photos or digging in the garden.
Dr Tony Dicker
Dr Dicker has been working in Skin Cancer Medicine since 1999, including 9 years in Brisbane. He obtained his Medical Degree from Monash University in 1989 and completed his PhD in Molecular Biology of Skin Cancer at the University of Queensland in 2001. He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA). Dr Dicker is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland School of Medicine.
